FRANCHISES AVAILIABLE! ~ Are you a stay-at-home mom who wants some extra money? Maybe, you have consigned or been to one of the Kid's Closet Consignment Sale's before and thought to yourself, "I can do this."

We have recently started offering franchises to people that would love to start a Kid's Closet Connection children's consignment sale of their own in another community. We have enjoyed tremendous success over the past six years, we wanted to open up this opportunity to other entrepreneurs.

• The Kid’s Closet franchise would include:
• Owning and operating a Kid’s Closet Connection sale in another area
• Access to the name and trademark "Kid’s Closet Connection"
• Access to Kid’s Closet operating manual - a comprehensive "how to" which we have learned and improved each and every sale. This will include everything from getting started, to advertising/marketing, to building of clothing racks, setting up the sale, check-in process, running the sale, check-out process, post sale teardown, closing the financial books at the end of the sale, and much more. It will be everything you will need to smoothly operate your own Kid’s Closet Connection consignment sale.
• Use of our website with your own sale sub site which you can edit and update your specific sale information. Access to our online consignor inventory system, online consignor and volunteer signup, and tagging/bar-coding capabilities.
• Provide a marketing campaign that is proven to be successful. Sales support and materials such as signs at a discount. We buy in bulk so our group pricing will be cheaper than you could buy individually.
• This list only a glimpse at what will be provided. It is intended to give you an idea of what will be offered.

Franchise Opportunities

With the financial crisis and the economy going into a recession, children’s semi-annual consignment sales are becoming ever so popular.

Kids grow so fast, and their clothing, toys, car seats, strollers, high chairs, cribs are barely used. Semi-annual consignment sales offer a way for area moms to make money on their children’s outgrown clothing, toys, etc. and in turn, purchase nearly new items in great condition at drastically reduced prices off retail.

There are many advantages to children’s consignment sales.
· Consignors receive a larger portion of the proceeds than if they went to a consignment shop to sell their items.
· There is no hassle with having a garage sale and consignors make more money than if they were to sell their items in a garage sale.
· Shoppers find better quality and more of a variety of items than if they were to shop at garage sales.
· They find better prices than if they were to shop at a consignment shop.

It is so important in today's society that we learn to recycle our resources including our outgrown children's items that are otherwise in great condition. These sales have given our community a way to help the environment by making money while selling your children's outgrown items and in turn, purchase nearly new items in great condition at prices drastically less than retail.

Kid’s Closet Connection recently started offering franchises at a very affordable price to individuals wanting to start their own children’s consignment sale. If you become part of our team, you will enjoy all of the benefits of our system and a proven marketing campaign.

We are Kansas City’s largest children's consignment sale offering the best selection of gently used children’s clothing, toys, books, baby equipment and furniture, etc. to the community. We have grown to over 300 consignors participating in our sales. We have recently franchised and added 9 more sales in Kansas and Missouri.

Kid’s Closet Connection’s sales occur twice a year, in the fall (Sept/Oct) and in the spring (March/April). These sales events usually last 3-4 days.

This is a recession proof business offering a great way to make significant money working just a few weeks per year.

We want you to make as much money as you can and get rid of as much stuff as you can, so consign at sevreal Kid's Closet Connection Consignment Sales! For example, if you consign at the Lenexa sale then you can take your extra things to the Lawrence sale. You can do this with any combination of our sales. You can use your same consignor number, so you don't need to retag anything!!! Just make sure you email the sale owner so we can add you as a consignor.
